Facial Aesthetics is proud to introduce Tammi Halter as a new member to our team. Around our office, Tammi is well known for her smile and personable demeanor. Tammi comes to us with over 10 years of medical spa experience. She graduated from Colorado School of Paramedical Aesthetics. Tammi strongly believes in continued education and over the years has attended Colorado School of healing arts, the Center for Appearance and Esteem with an emphasis in Dermalogical medical aesthetics, and the Center for Advance Therapeutics.

She is especially mindful of educating her clients on new trends and techniques, and on what really works in the skin care world. Tammi really takes her time with each individual patient she has to understand their skin care needs and educates them on all the options available to them. She also makes sure that her patients have realistic expectations. Tammi moved to Colorado in 1995 from northern Minnesota and has two Yorkshire terriers. Outside of work, Tammi enjoys yoga, running, skiing, and weight training. Tammi is always looking forward to meeting new clients and transforming their skin care goals into reality.

Shaye’s aesthetic career began over 5 years ago after her personal struggle with acne.  She learned quickly that she could change the skin with medical grade skin care treatments, and has since specialized in acne as well as in laser hair removal, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and facials.  She enjoys working with teens and adults with acneic skin and treats them by creating an individualized program for each of her patients.  She also excels in creating solutions for patients with anti-aging concerns. Shaye believes in not only treating the skin, but also in educating her patients so they are able to achieve and maintain healthy skin. 

 

Lily came to Facial Aesthetics with a very diverse background therefore she has a very unique position with us. Lily, a Colorado native, attended Fort Lewis College in her home town of Durango. Leaving her small town roots Lily took her curiosity and enthusiasm for beauty to the next level by accepting a position in Orlando, Florida. Where she worked as an image consultant for a well-known and highly respected television casting company and continued her education by becoming a licensed make-up artist and instructor. Deciding to move back to Colorado Lily took a position with a national plastic surgery marketing firm. A few years after being with the firm she felt compelled to make more of a personal connection with attended The International College of Aesthetics.

Since joining Facial Aesthetics team, Lily is not only able to educate the community as our Marketing Director, but also has the opportunity to touch the lives of her patients as one of our highly regarded Medical Aestheticians.

 

Jeff Harkson, an Arkansas native, realized his potential to become an innovator in the makeup industry when he began working for Lancôme as a beauty consultant in 2004. He quickly moved up within the company and coordinated events for regional and national makeup artists. Furthering his career, Mr. Harkson accepted a position with Christian Dior, relocating him to Denver, Colorado. He has since trained with national makeup artists and companies across the country including:

• Estee Lauder
• MAC
• Lancôme
• Christian Dior

He has seasoned his skills and put them to the test as the lead makeup artist for photo shoots, magazines ads, runway shows, beauty pageants, stage performances, and for blushing brides on their special day.

Jeff left his position as a regional makeup artist at Christian Dior to join the Facial Aesthetics team in hopes of creating more of a personal connection with his clients. Jeff truly believes that with the right mix of makeup and proper application, you can not only change the way you look on the outside, but the way you feel on the inside. This is why he encourages all of his clients to bring in their makeup bag and book a complementary “tips and technique” consultation. Through your consultation, you can not only look great leaving his chair, you can also accomplish the same look at home.

Outside of making the world more beautiful, Jeff likes to spend his time roller skating and cycling. When no one is looking, he can be a pretty great bowler.

 

Sheila Chavez graduated from the University of New Mexico as an ADN/RN in 1988.  Her medical experience began in critical and emergent care and she has continued to practice in these fields on a part time basis.  She feels it is important to keep her clinical knowledge in advanced skills strong in order to provide a high level of expertise and care to her aesthetic patients.  She is able to offer her patients knowledge and precision in all aspects of aesthetic nursing.  She also provides a unique skill of assessment, expertise and technical skill with the ability to deliver services in a comfortable and sincere manner.  Sheila has additional training in Lasers, dermafills, volumizers, skin assessment and care, sclerotherapy, micropigmentation as well as post operative and surgical assistance. 

Facial Aesthetics welcomes our newest RN injector Kristie Johnson, BSN, RN to our ever growing Facial Aesthetics team. Kristie comes to our practice with over 10 years of experience as a plastic surgery nurse, laser and injection specialist. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses and has had extensive training and education on advanced injection techniques. Kristie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Kristie is quickly proving to be one of our most passionate employees and makes it her top priority and daily goal to deliver the highest quality of care with the most natural results. Her clients range from her many patient referrals to TV personalities throughout Colorado. In her free time she most enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

Amy received her aesthetician license in 2004 at the Santa Barbara City Collage, continuing with advanced training at the International Derma and Aveda Institute of California. Returning to her home town in 2005, medical skin care became her focus here in Denver.

She has worked with Grossman Plastic Surgery and Facial Aesthetics since 2006 at both the Rose Medical and Highlands Ranch locations, she has extensive training in medically enhanced Facials, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasions, Dermaplaing and Laser Treatments.

She is passionate about skin care and enjoys consulting with each client towards achieving beautiful skin. It is a personal joy to her to be a service this way.

 

Christine Anthony is the new make-up artist at the Highlands Ranch office.  She is a true blue native of Colorado.  She graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Communications.  With a passion for make-up and an enthusiasm for beauty she began working part-time as a make-up artist assisting with weddings, photo shoots, social engagements, and TV premieres.  Her passion for make-up reflects in her ability to guide and teach you the tricks of the trade.  Christine loves the art of creating beauty by changing people's looks and lives with make-up.  Come enjoy the gift of a complementary consultation and make-up application!
