Pre-Treatment Instructions
For an effective Laser Hair Removal treatment, it is important to follow these guidelines for at least one week prior to the treatment:
Day of Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment
We will numb sensitive areas prior to your laser hair removal treatment, with a topical cream to make the treatment more comfortable. After the treatment for laser hair removal, the area may be red and slightly swollen. This is normal. Apply the ointment of cortisone cream as directed by your clinician. On occasion, laser hair removal may cause blisters to form. Be sure to call your clinician for instructions to care for these areas. Should this occur, while this may appear unsightly and be somewhat uncomfortable, it is easy to treat and rarely has ongoing ramifications.
You may notice some hairs still present in the treated area after the treatment. It is normal that these hairs will fall out spontaneously days to weeks after the laser hair removal.
Day after Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment
The area treated by laser hair removal may be somewhat red. This is normal. Apply cortisone and hydroquinone as directed by your clinician.
Third, Fourth, and Fifth Days after Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment
Continue as above.
