Laser Vein Therapy Instructions

Pre-treatment
Prior to laser vein treatment, all that you need to do is arrive to your appointment with compression hosiery, and a comfortable pair of shorts to wear while we treat you. Avoid any tanning before your procedure.
Post-treatment
After your laser vein treatment, you must avoid any prolonged exposure to the sun or the use of tanning booths for two days. Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications. Do not take a hot bath or exercise for two days. Use the support hose that you brought to the treatment for a week. Redness may develop but this will not last very long and certainly no longer than 48 hours. If blistering should occur just keep it clean and apply an antibiotic ointment to the area.
