Have you been eating well and exercising but it feels like certain areas of fat are stubborn and just won't go away? If this is the case, CoolSculpting may be the solution you have been looking for. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment that removes stubborn fat without surgery.

The CoolSculpting procedure was developed by Zeltiq and is currently the only FDA approved, permanent and non-invasive treatment available of its kind. Adults typically don't regenerate fat cells, so once they are destroyed they won't come back. It is still possible to gain weight in the region you have had the procedure if you do not maintain a healthy lifestyle.

CoolSculpting works by freezing fat cells through cryolipolysis, causing them to die, which your body then naturally processes and eliminates. Fat cells freeze at about 53° F, whereas other cells and muscles in the body freeze at 32°F. Because fat cells freeze at a higher temperature we can selectively damage the fat cells while leaving all other tissue unaffected.

CoolSculpting is not meant to be a weight loss procedure, it is meant to sculpt and countour by shrinking down stubborn areas of fat. The ideal candidate for the procedure will be within 20 to 30 pounds of their ideal body weight.
