Days 1-3 Post Treatment

  • AM Routine: Apply products recommended by your aesthetician.
  • PM Routine: Apply products recommended by your aesthetician. Keep the skin hydrated. If you feel dry, you can apply more lotion as needed.
  • On the 2nd or 3rd day after treatment, you will increasingly notice tiny dark spots and a bronzed appearance to the treated skin. This is the skin healing. Do not pick, rub, scrub or irritate your skin in any way while it is healing, as this may cause scarring, pigmentation complications and/or infection.
  • Mineral make-up may be worn if necessary.
  • Avoid heat, saunas, hot tubs and sweaty activity; this includes exercise of any kind during these days
  • Do not use an electric or manual facial brush of any kind (i.e. Clarisonic or something of the like)

 Days 4-7

  • AM Routine: Apply products as instructed by your aesthetician. Moisturizer should be applied generously and reapplied whenever skin feels dry.
  • PM Routine: Apply products as instructed by your aesthetician.
  • Do not use an electric or manual facial brush of any kind (i.e. Clarisonic or something of the like)
  • At the end of day 7, apply a light mask, as recommended by your aesthetician, to damp face in the shower and leave on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. The steam is essential for the enzymes to work and remove any lingering flakes of skin. This process may need to be done several times in order to remove all the lingering skin. Don’t be impatient, it may take 2-3 days.
